Devastator Peak from Angel Creek (South)
From some aspects this peak is seen as an impressive towering horn while from other angles it looks like a minor bump. The west side of the peak is actually supported by the Devastator Glacier and as the glacier melts the peak is destabilized and collapses, causing huge avalanches of rock, dirt and snow to crash down into Meager Creek. The last time this happened, in the 1970's, 5 people were killed. Hence the name.
