Mount Daniel from the North-Northwest
This peak is #33 in Prominence List for Washington .This is the highest point in King County, as well as the highest point between I-90 and US-2, west of the Cascade Crest. There are glaciers on the north and east faces, but these are rapidly retreating.

An extinct, glaciated volcano that has partially eroded away. The east slopes offer a long hike to the summit from Peggy's Pond, which avoid having to negotiate glacier travel.
