This peak is #50 in Prominence List for Alaska .A multipeak massif located south of Mount Vancouver. The east ridge is an exposed rock scramble with cornices.

Name Notes: This peak was named for mountaineer Walter Wood's daughter Foresta Wood, who disappeared in July 27, 1951 aboard a Norseman aircraft. The aircraft took off from the Seward Glacier below the Arctic Institutes base on July 27,1951.
