Tanaga Volcano
This peak is #40 in Prominence List for Alaska .This double-coned stratovolcano is the highest point uninhabited Tanaga Island, which is part of the Aleutian Islands chain. It's located on the northwest tip of island. The Tanaga Volcano is a double cone with several active vents. The last recorded eruption was in 1914. Access is by boat to Fan Point southwest of the summit. Hike northeast to reach the summit.
