This peak is #38 in Prominence List for Alaska .This stratovolcano is the highest point on Unalaska Island. It's located on the northern part of the island It's an active volcano whose last eruption was in 1995. Despite its low elevation, the summit is completely covered in glacial ice. Access is by boat from Dutch Harbor to the bay north of Cape Kovrizhka. Hike east along the broad creek bed to the base of the glacier, and slog up to the summit.
