Mount Veniaminof
This peak is #11 in Prominence List for Alaska .Mount Veniaminof is a broad, active stratovolcano located just northwest of the tiny community of Perryville on the Alaska Peninsula. The huge summit crater is filled with ice and has a volcanic plug in its center. The highpoint is on the northeast crater rim. The summit is an easy ascent from most directions. Its last eruption occured in 1993-1995.
