Beehive Mountain is located between Calgary and Fernie, on the continental divide between the Elk River and the Oldman River. It is directly E of Beehive Pass and N of the head of Beehive Creek. Do not confuse this with the better known Beehive near Lake Louise.

Name Notes: Named in 1886 by George M. Dawson because it has a similar appearance to a beehive and it does in fact appear on Dawson's 1886 map. Beehive Mountain was first ascended by the Topographic Survey in 1913.
