First Ascent: 1973 John Clarke; western tower J Clarke P Croft 1986
This is among the highest of a group of rock towers on the south divide of Doran Creek and one ridge north of the more famous Klattasine Ridge. Due to issues related to the debate surrounding the relevance of prominence only the two highest towers of a dozen or so on the ridge crest have been entered into Bivouac. This summit is an impressive spire with a steep south face, a glaciated north face, and a freestanding western pinnacle forming a subsidiary summit with vertical walls. This western tower was the one that John Clarke recruited Peter Croft to get him up, 10 years after he climbed all the other peaks in the group.
