This is the second highest of a range of unnamed pinnacled summits on the south divide of Doran Creek. Due to ongoing Bivouac debates related to prominence only the two highest summits of the 10 or so peaks in the group have been entered for now.

This peak is an interesting looking granite tower. The Doran ridge peaks are similar to the Klattasine Ridge towers but do not have quite as large towers or faces - they are more free-standing, though.

Name Notes: Named for Doran Creek. The USS Doran was a Fletcher class destroyer during World War Two. In keeping with the naval theme of the area.
