Limelight Peak, Ashlu-Elaho Divide
North end of Ashlu-Elaho Divide The highest point on the long ridge line bracketing the north side of Limelight Creek, 2 km NW of Ashlu Mountain. The second peak from the SW is the highest and most difficult. Easiest approach is probably from Rugged Lake. Second easiest from snow slopes to the NW, reached from end of Ashlu Main by bushwhacking NE toward the thin sliver of a lake near the pass with Peach Creek. From the lower SW peak, descend to the col with the second peak. Traverse a slab from the col to gain an interesting, blocky ridge opposite. A few moves lead to easier ground and the highest point on the ridge. A dramatic-looking peak from the north, it is disconcertingly eclipsed at close range by its much higher neighbour, Ashlu Mountain.

Name Notes: Name is derived from Weldwood map showing Limelight Creek to the southeast.
