Veeocee Mountain - Northeast Side
A bump located at the end of ridge at the head of the Cheakamus River and west of the Ubyssey Glacier. It's an easy scramble from the Ubyssey Glacier and the Southeast Ridge. Access is elaborate though, normally via singing pass, the Fitzimmons Range, and across the upper Cheakamus River, to the McBride Glacier and then the Ubyssey Glacier.

Name Notes: This summit, named after the Varsity Outdoor Club*. At the time of naming the Committee On Geographic Names held that names made from acronyms or initials were unsuitable for permanent names. So the name "Veeocee" was used instead of VOC. Similarly a creek draining into Snowcap Lake was named Ayceecee Creek. It doesn't seem to have been a problem when Isar (International Search and Rescue) or Fasp (First Aid Ski Patrol) Mountains were named, though...
