1. Blackcomb Buttress Mostly 4th class. Hike directly E from small lake in Xhiggie's Meadow to base of prominant buttress. Climb black lichened buttress towards summit. Mostly 4th class, with occasional low 5th. Usual descent is NE to Blackcomb Glacier, but descent to SSW is also possible over large talus.
2. DOA Buttress Mostly 4th class. Similar approach as to Blackcomb Buttress, but one prominant ridge to the south. Steep couloir called DOA is between this route and Blackcomb Buttress. Mostly 4th with some low 5th (McLane puts it at 5.7) possible. Descent as for Blackcomb Buttress.
3. Northeast Face Glacier. Ski south from Blackcomb Glacier, ascending NE face. NTD. Some crevasses in late summer.
