A dormant volcano whose gentle summit stands by itself on the western shore of Garibaldi Lake. The lava flow from Clinker Peak to its west created The Barrier which dammed Rubble Creek and created Garibaldi Lake. It is also responsible for the huge lava flows that make up the upper parts of Culliton Creek. Easiest ascent is from the Battleship Islands campground on Garibaldi Lake, going up a rough trail to the NW ridge to the col between Price and Clinker Peak. Can be done easily either on foot or on skis (3 hours). Mount Price does not seem to get much traffic at any time of the year. There is a spectacular view of the Table from the summit.
1. From the North NTD walk up. A rough trail goes from battleship lakes campground to the bottom of open scree slope on the north side of Clinker Peak. Ascend this slope, which is an old lava flow, then on to the summit of Mount Price
