Itcha Mountain - West Slopes
This mountain is the namesake for the Itcha Range, which stands all by itself. The headwaters of the Chilcotin River drain the entire E flank of the Itcha Range. The Itchas is one of several shield volcanoes that form the Anahim Volcanic Belt, which includes the Rainbow Range, the Ilgachuz, and the Itchas. These features were formed between 8m ybp and 1m ypb as the crust moved over a mantle hot spot, similar to what is happening in Hawaii today.

Name Notes: Itcha Mountain is the namesake of a local bootleg concoction known as "Itcha Mountain Fog", which is something like "Kickapoo Joy Juice" in Li'l Abner - a sort of moonshine containing "a little bit of whatever crawls by"....usually obtainable at the Anahim Lake Rodeo (if you're brave enough to try it).
