Ben Lomond from the Northwest Approach Ridge
An aesthetic, pointed horn which marks the divide between the Seymour and Stawamus River watersheds. It's located at the head of Clipper Creek and on the west side of Loch Lomond, which is also named after a body of water in Scotland. At present, the best access is via logging roads in the Furry Creek drainage. Quicker access will be provided if the Stawamus River logging roads are reopened. The northwest ridge is the standard approach route (Class 2-3).

Name Notes: Ben Lomond (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Laomainn), is named after a peak in the Scottish Highlands. The Ben Lomond in Scotland, is only 974 m (3196 feet), high. Its accessibility from Glasgow and elsewhere in central Scotland, together with the relative ease of ascent from Rowardennan, from where a well trodden track runs all the way to the summit, makes it one of the most popular of all the Munros.

Route Summaries exist for this mountain, but are only available to paid members.
