The Fist (Southeast Aspect) from Mount Chester
The Fist is the major knob of rock on the ridge that runs NE of Mt. Smuts. From the road it has the appearance of a left hand clinched into a fist.

There is a difficult up the south slopes which are hidden from the road. The Fist can be accessed from the Trail up Smuts Creek to Smuts Pass off of the Smith Dorrien Spray Lakes Road. Take the turnoff to the Mount Shark/Engadine Lodge road to the trailhead for Smuts Pass.

Name Notes: Named in 1973 by Bernie Schiesser due to its obvious profile of a hand clenched into a fist.
