Perry, C. ChapmanThis peak is the highest point of all the peaks in the area labelled as "Lynn Peaks" on many maps. Because "Lynn Peaks" is a plural name, there has been a lot of confusion in various maps, guidebooks, and trail signs as to the location of the true "Lynn Peak". (and in fact, some confusion on BC Basemap as to the location of Lynn Peaks. It is generally accepted that the division between Lynn Peaks and Needle Peaks is the pass at the head of Hydralic Creek. Given that, Lynn Peak is the highest point south of that pass. Note: Some versions of BC Basemap has two labels for Lynn Peaks. They have wrongly labelled the south and center Needle as Lynn Peaks, when in reality, only the lower wooded peaks are Lynn Peaks. | | Trips within 1 km 49 2015.06.28 Coliseum Mountain via Lynn Valley in the heat Lucas Earl 19 2010.04.25 Needles (South Peak) via Hydraulic Creek Tim Gage 40 2002.07.10 Can Art Critics Enjoy Wildlife?
