The Defendant - Southwest Side
An impressive rock massif just inside the eastern boundary of Golden Ears Provincial Park. It's on the northeast side of Tingle Creek and south of Judicator Lake. The summit is protected by rock walls on all sides. This area is remote and a multiday expedition is required to climb The Defendant. Access is by boat along Stave Lake to the mouth of Tingle Creek. Bushwack up Tingle Creek and then head north to a lake at the end of the northwest ridge. Gain the northwest ridge and follow it to the summit (Class 4).

Route Summaries exist for this mountain, but are only available to paid members.
