4.6 km W of Redoubt Mountain, the western named outlier of the Slate Range. A.P. Coleman's ascent in 1884 was among the earliest recreational ascents in the Rockies. Unfortunately, the mountain is now grossly commercialized by summer and winter operations of the Lake Louise ski area - the summer operations including a fence to separate people from the grizzly bears that frequent the slopes.
