Name Notes: Named in 1883 after Cyrus West Field who as a guest of the CPR visited the "end of steel" in 1884 but did not invest in the cash-strapped Canadian Pacific Railway as it had been hoped. He was also a promotor of the first trans-Atlantic cable.
