Mount Southesk from the Northeast
Located in the Southesk River Valley and S of Cairn River.

Name Notes: Named after James Carnegie who was the Earl of Southesk. Carnegie passed by and coined the name for this peak in 1859. After travelling in the Rockies and along the North Saskatchewan River he documented them in his book of 1875 titled "Saskatchewan and the Rocky Mountains".
