Pyriform Mountain from the NE
Named for its pyramidal shape, this peak lies at the headwaters of Junction Creek. Access via trails up Junction Creek from the north (crossing the Sheep River may be difficult in the Spring), or via trails up Trap Creek from the south. See Daffern's "Kananaskis Country Trail Guide - Vol 2"

Name Notes: Named in 1922 after the scientific term pyriform, which means "pear-shaped". When seen from the Stampede Ranch the "pear-shaped" profile is most prominent.
