Highest point on the glaciated ridge southwest of Elaho-Squamish river junction. Amicus is normally climbed as part of the ski traverse of the Ashlu-Elaho Divide. To read trip reports, see Creek Names Up the Elaho River and label your map. The once-impressive and impassable icefall in Shadow Creek completely disappeared in the 1990s.
Name Notes: Amicus means "friend" in Latin.
