Mount Gardner - East Side
Highest peak on Bowen Island, which isn't saying much. A heli-pad and microwave tower on the summit provide worthwhile views of Gibsons, UBC, West Vancouver and the Howe Sound mountains near Mt. Harvey. The peak can be gained by a good half-day round trip, rain or shine. Rarely has snow even in the winter. A complicated series of trails lead to the summit from multiple directions. This has been the cause of many lost hikers.
