This peak is #11 on the Height List for Newfoundland and Labrador . This peak is #18 in Prominence List for Newfoundland and Labrador .Located in the Torngat Mountains, it's the highpoint of the divide between Chasm Lake and Tasiuyak Arm. Innuit Mountain has a twin summit about 1.5 km to the south that is above the same contour line according to 1:50000 maps. We assume that the labeled north summit is slighly higher but this needs to be confirmed. There's another summit 1 km further south on the same ridge called Packard Mountain, which is one contour line lower. Access is by boat to a creek outlet at the foot of Tasiuyak Arm, across the arm from Townley Head. Hike northwest along the creek and then directly west to gain the very gentle northeast ridge of Innuit Mountain. Follow this ridge to the top.
