A high snow peak located on the continental divide, at the extreme western edge of the Columbia Icefield. To the east of the peak is a seldom visited part of the Columbia Icefield. At first glance, one might consider it to be part of the Chaba Icefield rather than the Columbia, except that both it and King Edward are more highly linked to Columbia than to anything to the west. The pass between the Athabasca River and Wales Glacier (2200m) is 500m lower than the King Edward-Columbia Col.

Name Notes: Named in 1936.
