Vulcan Mountain is the second highest point in the group of mountains separated by the Slims and Kaskawulsh rivers. A glacier sits on the north side of the mountain. It's seldom climbed because of the elaborate approach and the proximity of higher peaks in the Icefield Ranges to the west.
