Pyramid Mountain from the South
Pyramid Mountain is located just north of Jasper townsite, with Pyramid Lake below its southeast slopes. When viewed from northeast, the mountain displays a perfect pyramid shape. There was a service tram on the northeast slopes leading to a telecommunications tower on the summit. The tram and tower were removed in 2004-2005. The north ridge is an easy, though long, scramble. Access from Pyramid Lake Drive and the gated service road at its end. The first section can be travelled by mountain bike.

Name Notes: Named by James Hector in 1859. George Kinney and Conrad Kain were the first to summit (date?)
