This peak is #18 in Prominence List for Colorado .The highest point on Huntsman Ridge, higher than the official Huntsman Mountain. Huntsman Ridge is a very long ridge that goes both north and south of the peak. Immediately to the south is an officially named peak called Huntsman Mountain, but at 11786 feet, it is lower.

Name Notes: This peak is unnamed on the USGS maps. It is the highpoint of Huntsman Ridge, but that name cannot be used because there is a lower "Huntsman Mountain" just to the south. So we look to the creek names to provide a geographic name. It is drained by Henderson, Coal, and Deadhorse Creeks on the west and Dutch Creek on the east. There is a mine on the eastern slopes called Dutch Creek Mine.
