Mount Terry Fox from the Trail
A dry rocky peak, with several subpeaks before the final summit. There is no water on the southern slopes, but there is usually snow even in August on the northern flank of the final ridge. The peak offers a spectacular view of Mount Robson on a clear day.

Name Notes: This peak was named for Terry Fox who on April 12, 1980 Terrence Stanley Fox, a native of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia set out from Saint John's, Newfoundland on a cross-country run to raise money for cancer research. Despite having lost his right leg to cancer in 1977, Terry managed to run a full Marathon almost every day. On September 1st, he was forced to stop his "Marathon of Hope" near Thunder Bay, Ontario because the cancer had spread to his lungs. He had ran for 143 days and covered 5373 km. Terry died on June 28, 1981 at age 22. To date, an estimated $270 million worldwide has been raised for cancer research in Terry's name.
