The North Saskatchewan River runs parallel to the ridge. The river has been able to erode only a narrow part of the ridge. The whirlpool in the river marks the point where the North Saskatchewan changes direction to cut through the ridge. You can see the extension of the ridge on the other side of the river. | | Trip Reports within 1 km CommentsPaper Maps | Subject Photos View Thumbnails 10 Tuff Puff and Whirlpool Ridge Vern DewitPlacename Photos 3 David Thompson Panorama from Normandy Peak Part 2 Eric Coulthard |
