This peak is #66 on the Height List for Newfoundland and Labrador . This peak is #24 in Prominence List for Newfoundland and Labrador .Located in the English Mountains, which form the easternmost portion of the Mealy Mountains in Labrador. This mountain contains three gentle summits that could be considered the highpoint, as they are all above the same contour line according to NTS maps. It's the highest mountain in the Mealy Mountains as well as the English Mountains, regardless which of the three summit is the higpoint. Access to this remote area is difficult. The nearest access point by boat is Swallow Harbour on Lake Melville, 30 km of difficult terrain from the summit.
