This stratovolcano is the highpoint of Kiska Island, which is part of the Aleutian Islands. It's an active volcano whose last eruption occured in 1990. There's a village on Kiska Island called Kiska Harbour. From the village, hike northeast along the peninsula. Skirt around the east side od Christine Lake, and then ascend the southeast slope to gain the summit.
