This active stratovolcano is the highpoint of Seguam Island, which is part of the Aleutian Chain. The last eruption was in May 1993. Access is by boat from the village of Nikolski on Ummak Island to the northeast. Pull ashore at Lava Cove southeast of the summit and hike to the top.
