This peak is #96 in Prominence List for Alaska .A classic stratovolcano on Herbert Island, which is part of the Aleutian chain. This volcano is the highpoint and takes up most of the surface area of the island. Access is by boat from the village of Nikolski on Ummak Island to the east. Pull ashore by a cabin on the north side of the island and hike to the top. The highpoint is on the south rim.
