Mount Farnham and the Farnham Tower - Closeup
This peak is #55 on the Height List for British Columbia .A striking molar shaped tower on the north end of the Farnham massif and clearly visible from the Columbia Valley and many peaks. The standard approach for the east side is from McDonald Creek.

1. East Ridge / South Face (1914 Aug) A. H. & E. L. MacCarthy, Conrad Kain. They followed the same line of ascent from McDonald as for the original ascent of Mount Farnham to gain the notch in the main ridge just S of the Tower. From there they went back N to gain the base of the Tower, then ascended broken chimneys which trend W to the summit. (CAJ 6-112).
2. East Face (1954 Aug) V. Germann and F. Stark.. They followed the same line of ascent from McDonald as for the original ascent of Mount Farnham to gain the E base of the Tower. They then followed the obvious chimney on the face to gain the summit.
