Truda peak is located at eastern end of the Mount Rogers massif. There is a photo labelling it in Jones. Truda peak has an impressive 600m north face that drops into the Hermit cirque, but unfortunately the rock is of very poor quality. There are recorded climbs on all but the north side all in the class 3 to class 4 range.

Name Notes: Named for Gertrude 'Truda' E Benham who made the first Rogers-Swiss traverse. Some maps have a label for Truda Peaks (plural), but for Bivouac purposes, we only talk about Truda Peak (singular), the highest point of whatever may be there.
