Located directly S of the headwaters of Carrol Creek on the W side of Cupola Creek. This is the highest mountain in the Esplanade Range.

Name Notes: The name comes from the "Cupola" of a railway caboose. The cupola is the raised section in the center of the caboose from which the tail end brakeman and conductor can watch the train, looking for signs of trouble such as hot journal boxes, etc.
