First Ascent: 1976 Arthur Maki, Tom Swaddle, Peter Vermeulen
A large glaciated summit to the west of the David Glacier, and overlooking the Raush River. Most easily ascended from the northeast via snow slopes. Louis St Laurent was Prime Minister of Canada from 1948 - 1957, immediately following Mackenzie King. Under his leadership Newfoundland became part of Canada. He was defeated in 1957 by the conservative party under John Diefenbaker.
