This peak is #7 in Prominence List for Wyoming .Although not technical it is a rugged mountain which is the highest in the Laramie Range. The summit can be reached using a non technical trail which starts in Friend Park. To reach the park and the Laramie Peak Trailhead turn west at Glendo, Wyoming and follow Esterbrook Road on gravel and dirt. When you reach the town of Esterbrook drive through and follow the signs to Friend Park.
