This peak is #74 in Prominence List for British Columbia .This is the most northern of the 3 major peaks of Hudson Bay mountain, and the highest. See Discussion of Three Peaks of Hudson Bay Mountain.

1. Northwest plateau Class 4. On the map, the easiest access is supposed to be up the Toboggan creek road and onto the northwest plateau which the map shows to be easy to 7200 feet (54.8235,-127.3517). From there one might skirt around on the east side at the top of the Toboggan glacier and climb to the col at 54.8158,-127.3483.
2. North Face class 4.5. which is a 300 m mixed alpine climb, 5.4 and ice to 50 degrees. This is now melting out badly. Access is best up Kathlyn Glacier with a bivouac on its N side. Then a scramble to the col between Kathlyn and Toboggan Glaciers. The descent is down the Kathlyn couloir, 300 m of 40 to 45 degree snow/ ice with a bergschrund at the bottom to Kathlyn Glacier. People also climb and ski this couloir.
