Atna Peak East Face
This peak is #43 in Prominence List for British Columbia .A large and conspicuous triangular peak, highest in the region between Kitimat and Kemano. On NTS map 103H/16 the name is positioned about 500 metres too far north, on the very minor north summit. First ascent described in CAJ vol. 47, 1964 p. 120. Party, accompanied by Ralph Hessie, flew to Atna Lake and approached summit via Atna R and Anta Gl. Hessie did not accompany party from high camp to summit.

Name Notes: Note that there is another Atna Peak, in Alaska.
