This peak is #7 on the Height List for Yukon Territory .Russell Peak is located on the south side of the normal route to Mount Logan's main summit. It's usually circumvented along its north perimeter but is an easy ascent along its southeast ridge. This subpeak is named after I.C. Russell of the U.S. Geographical Survey who in 1890 named Mount Logan after William Logan.

Name Notes: This peak is labelled as Russell Peak on the AINA map, but is not officially labelled on 1:50,000.
