On the continental divide between St. Nicholas Peak and Balfour Pass. Vulture Col is immediately southwest. There are two summits separated by an easy stretch of ridge. The north summit seems slightly higher.

Name Notes: The peak was named in 1898 by H.B. Dixon, for his wife. Another source states that the name comes from the drab green shales in the peak.
