Name Notes: Named in 1894 by Samuel E.S. Allen in honour of Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle (1874-1903), an author and publisher, who was a friend of Allen's; he was from Philadelphia and was purportedly an extenisve and enthusiastic traveller.
