|This is one of those unfortunate plural name peaks, and from the 1:50K map it is difficult to tell which is the higher. Even from the old imperial 1:50K which are more accurate, both peaks have 3 contour lines above 8500'. So for our purposes we take the summit to be where the label is, which is the northwest peak.|
Can be climbed via a gulley directly up from Lake O'Hara. There is a short chimney just before the summit.
Name Notes: Named in 1894 by Samuel E.S. Allen in 1894 after the Stoney First Nations word for "windy", which is Wiwaxy.
