This peak is #14 on the Height List for Alberta . This peak is #41 in Prominence List for Alberta . This peak is #30 on the Height List for British Columbia .Located above the Horseshoe Glacier at the head of Paradise Valley.

The normal approach is from Lake O'Hara and Opabin Pass. The west ridge is the standard route, but involves tricky route finding.

Name Notes: It was named in 1894 by Samuel E.S. Allen and Hungabee is a Stoney First Nations word meaning chieftain.
