Boom Mountain from the east
Located on the south side of Boom Lake outflow on the N side of Hwy 93. A gully in the north face is the standard route, which involves a few "technical" sections.

Name Notes: It was named in 1908 after the driftwood that floated in the lake like a lumberman's boom from the many avalanches on the north/northeast face.
