First Ascent: 1885 J. Macoun, W.T. Macoun
Located NW of Pilot Mountain, E of Storm Mountain on the W side of Redearth Creek. A rocky and isolated peak surrounded by trees. It is easy to climb starting from Red Earth creek and crossing the broad plateau on the west.

Name Notes: It was named in 1884 by George M. Dawson. Before George Dawson had visited the bow valley Joe Healy and J.S. Dennis apparently found copper near the summit.
