Located due east of Banff and due north of Canmore, in the Fairholme Range. A long north south running massif directly north of the Highway 1. Charles Stewart's far southern outlier is Mount Lady MacDonald, while Princess Margaret Mountain is the western shoulder.

Name Notes: Named in 1928 after Charles Stewart whose highlights of a career in politics included being Premier of Alberta and a Federal Cabinet Minister.
